first_imgHMD Global will make its debut appearance at IFA 2019 in Berlin on September 5. So far, it had only been speculated that the Nokia 7.2 will be part of the event at IFA, but this has now been confirmed. Joachim Kuss who works for Zeiss posted an image of the Nokia 7.2, revealing its triple camera setup housed in a circular module. The Nokia 7.2 will come with Zeiss lenses as expected and will also feature a rear-mounted fingerprint sensor. The circular camera module on the Nokia 7.2 is reminiscent of some Nokia Lumia phones of the past. HMD Global demonstrated the new Nokia 7.2 to some media and tech reporters ahead of the company’s IFA 2019 launch event next month. The image (which has now been taken down) clearly shows us three camera sensors and an LED flash housed in the circular module. Based on what we know so far, the Nokia 7.2 will come with a 48MP primary camera and a 120-degree wide-angle lens. HMD is also expected to announce the Nokia 6.2 at its September 5th event that is also said to bring a 48MP triple camera system. Both the Nokia 7.2 and Nokia 6.2 passed through the FCC recently where they were listed with 6.3-inch displays. One of the two Nokia phones may come with a Snapdragon 660 or newer mid-range processor. The Nokia 7.2 and Nokia 6.2 may sport waterdrop or punch-hole displays, but nothing is clear at the moment.HMD Global has so far launched the Nokia 2.2, Nokia 3.2, Nokia 4.2 and Nokia 9 PureView in India. The upcoming Nokia phones set to debut at IFA 2019 are also expected to come to India soon to replace last year’s Nokia 6.1 and Nokia 7.1. The Nokia 7.2’s circular camera module is an interesting design choice that will no doubt bring back memories for long-time Nokia fans who may remember the Lumia days.advertisementALSO READ | Android 10 for Nokia phones announced, Nokia 7.1, 8.1 and 9 PureView will be first to get updated in Q4 2019last_img read more
