first_imgCurated by  MyArtWorld, Pakistan, the show is a part of the  Lifestyle exhibition “Aalishan Pakistan” organised by the Trade Development Authority of Pakistan(TDAP), to promote Pakistani contemporary art across the border and give established and emerging artists a platform to showcase their art. The participating artists are – Amin Gulgee, Ali Azmat, Tapu Javeri, Scheherzade Junejo,Summayya Jillani, Dua Abbas, Zehra Javeri, Ramzan Jafri, Sahyr Sayed, Syed Shahabdullah and Rabia Ajaz. Also Read – ‘Playing Jojo was emotionally exhausting’Issues of gender, problem of identity, place of body, question of tradition and the role of politics in a post colonial society are a few themes evident in the works being presented. The show projects the diversity in terms of artists’ ideas, approaches and positions.
