We feel that this new television show will help develop the entertainment industry by giving artists, performers and entertainers the outlet to promote their work while allowing viewers to tap into the vitality of Dominica’s entertainment scene,” she said.Chief Cultural Officer, Mr. Raymond Lawrence.Meantime Chief Cultural Officer Raymond Lawrence described the launching of the Buzz as one which will go a long way in strengthening the country’s identity.“In order for the public to become familiar with the works of our artistes, we have to promote them. Through the buzz, we say let’s see the lifestyles, the trends the culture of Dominican entertainers and artists. Through the Buzz we say let’s find out which Dominican thirty year old woman is on her way to becoming an international sensation and let’s put that on display. In addition, just like we see what’s going on with Rihanna, Buju and Fayan, we think it’s about time the world see what’s going on with Michelle Henderson, Benji and Carleen,” she said.According to Mrs Aaron, “the Buzz will give us a chance to see a reflection of ourselves and allow the rest of the world to get a glimpse of who we are.”The entertainment package will be produced for weekly airing on Marpin 2k4 on Mondays at 7pm with repeats on Saturdays at 6pm and Sundays at 5pm.
